- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100.00 per hour of recording time on the audio recording for the transcript, for example: if the audio is one hour long, the charge is $100.00. If you want time codes to match the time stamping at the bottom of a video recording, there is an additional $25.00 per recorded hour to match the time codes to the time stamping, which is very time- consuming.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I confirm that they want to use my services, and then get all their contact information, and also ask them to send me a 'Confirmation Email' that we will be working together. Each new client gets a Dropbox Folder with their name and the name of the business in the title, and I send them an 'Acceptance Notification' sent via Dropbox for them to confirm that we are sharing the Dropbox Folder, and then the client will have their own Dropbox Folder for both of us to share. Once the Dropbox Folder is created and then they 'Confirm the Acceptance' of the Dropbox folder, we are connected, and all the recordings and all of the completed transcripts are uploaded in their individual Dropbox folder. This keeps everything just between the two [2] of us, and nothing is sent via attachments to email messages, unless 'Requested by the Client'. I can also 'Share the Dropbox Folder' with other individuals if they want someone else to see the transcripts for the project, and that shares the folder with whomever they want to share. The Folder contains an Icon for everyone having access to that Client's Folder, and we work back and forth with each other, only in that Dropbox Folder.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Over 40 plus years of experience in the Administrative field, including Executive Assistant at The Secretary of State's Office in The Capitol Building in Austin, Texas. In that position, I was the Executive Assistant to The Legal Counsel and four [4] Attorneys in the Legal Department at The Secretary of State's Office. I have owned my own business since July, 2006, and love working with new clients and existing clients, on an 'As Needed Basis'.
