FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts for students who buy multiple lessons at a time. Most couples purchase 4 60-minute lessons for $325 or 8 lessons for $600. Alternatively, you can pay full price for one lesson at a time, which is $100 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We get in touch to schedule the first lesson and talk about your goals. For couples preparing for their wedding, we always discuss music choices before our first lesson together. I like to at least have it narrowed down to a couple of songs in advance, which I'm happy to help with. During your first lesson, we lay the foundation - how to connect, move, and some basic vocabulary. In the next couple of lessons, we add more advanced moves and continue fine-tuning what we've already learned. In your last lesson to prepare for a first dance, we add the finishing touches and practice, practice, practice. If you are looking for more of a date night experience with your significant other rather than wedding dance lessons, we still talk about music and goals in advance and start by laying the foundations in our first lesson. From there, however, we build towards more advanced moves and potentially other dance styles, based on your individual interests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've trained as a professional dance teacher for the last seven years via mentoring, conferences, and dedicated training across the United States.
