I have been doing 1:1 lessons with The Yoga Mermaid (Cara) for close to a year now. My intention was to get a few basics down so that I could join classes, but my experience with her has evolved into so much more!

She is very knowledgeable in so many aspects of the practice. She has an incredible amount of patience for beginners like me, and she has helped me tremendously with my form and confidence.

What puts her above the rest is her ability to tune in to how I'm feeling that day and tailoring our session to it. She also takes a holistic approach to our lessons, and provides fantastic advance to enhance my physical and mental wellbeing. In fact- I broke my foot earlier this year, and once I was ready to practice again, she learned techniques to help me with recovery from my injury and ensuring that I had a safe return to practice.

It's taken me awhile to write a review because it's difficult to describe how fantastic she's been! My review does not do her justice!

Cara exceeded all of our expectations! She worked with my dad who has never really done yoga and wasn’t that interested in it before. After one session he was hooked and will now be practicing once a week. Cara was patient and respectful and after their session he said he felt his stresses of the day melt away. Cannot say enough great things about her!

Late on the review! But Cara was absolutely amazing! She came out the morning of my best friends wedding so that she could start her day with a little yoga and I could not have asked for a better instructor; especially since I’m a rookie and my best friend is the avid yoga-er lol. I would book Cara again in a heartbeat. She set the tone for my best friends special and I genuinely could not thank her enough! 10/10 stars!

Working with Cara was Mermazing! She was extremely accommodating! Cara made my sister bachelorette unforgettable!!! She was also able to provide mermaid tails which was such a fun experience. I cannot suggest booking Cara enough.
