Overall good experience. Couple of things that kept me from rating their service 5 stars. The quote seemed very clear and after I emailed Stephane a couple times I felt confident that there was no surprise charges. However, when the movers arrived there was a new charge on the invoice for 30$ for shrink wrap. Seemed like a minor charge but I would have like the disclosure of the charge up front. The second thing that kept me from the giving a perfect score was that the move happened to fall on a day it was raining. It seemed that the movers would slow down to a crawl or stall during the heavier rain, like they were scared of the rain. The last issue I had was paying for the move. I clarified via phone that I was able to pay with a credit card at the end of the move. The movers gave me an invoice and I gave them a credit card and they asked if I had cash or a check. They accepted the credit card but the process took over a half an hour to process, even after the movers left I received a phone call from the office to process the card again. Seems like such a simple process of paying was very difficult. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.

We moved this past weekend from a small apartment. The two movers were on time and efficient. Originally we'd been quoted for a 3-hour move, but they were able to get it done in 2, which saved me some money. Can't go wrong with that. Everything made it here and nothing looks damaged, so I'm very pleased.

I used Righteous Movers today to move my mother's things from an assisted living community to a storage shelter. The movers today were professional and very pleasant to work with. My mother has nice furniture, a few antiques, and large expensive framed art on the walls. The movers handled mom's things with care and wrapped everything nicely. Thanks again for a great job! I will recommend Righteous Movers in the future!

My family & I have had Kingdom Men Movers to move all of us (4 houses some twice). The service is beyond exceptional and working with Charles and his crew is just a joy during the stress of moving. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Charles and Kingdom Men whether you live in a mansion or a small frame house. How much should you tip furniture movers?

Moving furniture is hard work and potentially dangerous unless you’re properly equipped. For anyone not ready to handle their heavy oak armoire alone, professional furniture movers can safely and efficiently move your items to another room in your house or across town as needed. The national average cost to hire heavy furniture movers is $150-$200 per hour. This rate could include multiple furniture movers working as a team to move items such as beds, armoires, billiards tables, pianos, shelves, tables, entertainment centers and more. Hourly rates can vary by region. If your furniture movers have arrived on time, done a great job, kept your home and belongings protected from scratches and dings, and completed the move as planned, a tip will be greatly appreciated. Moving companies suggest approximately 10 percent of the total bill as gratuity for those doing local moving jobs, which is also a good guideline for tipping heavy furniture movers. If the total bill for heavy moving was $100 and two workers were onsite, consider giving them $10 total, or $5 each for a job well done.
