Ok, frustration on my part unable to solve a computer problem, and I've been using computers since the Kaypro days. No success from my usual repair guy, microcenter said the problem was some connection issue but no guidance on specifics (to be fair, they only had the computer itself, not access to any connections.) Found Tanner on Thumbtack. He did a great job and did a work around that solved the problem. Five stars well earned.

Tanner was amazing. Our computer was experiencing slow running and non-responsiveness. Tanner spent hours working with my husband to correct the problem. Unfortunately, our computer, being so old, was beyond repair, but Tanner gave it his all trying to get it back up and running anyway. I would definitely recommend him to anyone with computer issues.

Tanner made a very difficult situation I was in somewhat easier to bear (my husband was diagnosed w/ onset of dementia due to an illness). Everything fell on my lap and now have to deal with all aside from caring for my best friend who is now needing 24/7 care. Dealing now with double the usernames, PWs, bills to pay, important documents that was saved on his computer and making sure I can access them to keep up with the challenges of keeping them in order for me to have access when the need arises. My husband was a former partner and part-time consultant after retiring a few years ago and soon had to give up a client program over to his business partner. There was an issue with time pressure for me to clear up and download our important documents before he gives access to this program on his computer. I was more concerned about our personal documents/files, pictures, etc. before signing off on this program over to their tech group. Tanner helped through a 'remote process'. He was so generous of his time, prompt to response and so patient with answering my questions. He was straightforward with the cost; the process it would take to complete the project and gave the assurance I needed that I can download the files from my husband's Dell laptop to an external SD 4T hard drive I have and be able to access the files to my Apple Macbook Air. He was patient, an excellent communicator and made sure I can feel comfortable and assured I have downloaded everything; and not a time wasted. Now with some peace of mind, it's a matter of organizing - a huge task ahead; but now know someone experienced who can help me when needed and would not hesitate to call again. Thanks to Thumbtack as well!

I started my day at 5am I turned on my computer clicked on something that looked innocent enough but in reality it was malware after several attempts with limited knowledge I finally googled a computer tech that's when I found "Tanner Tech" 3 things impressed me about Tanner was: 1) He's reasonable for the quality of work (he went the extra mile). 2) By my surprise he was on line at 5 AM 3) Most important and where Tanner brought an equal amount of value to me is I'm out here in the middle of nothin and nowhere, Tennessee where you can't find a computer or IT guy Tanner was there for me. I had an appointment with my bank to setup my payroll system for my company it was crucial that my computer be up and running in a few hours for the remote appointment (by the way) Tanner got rid of about 84 malware attacks and did it all remotely. Coming from California where you can throw a rock in any direction and hit somebody who knows something about computers. It's refreshing to Know that even on the back 40 there is someone with the caliber, accuracy, passion and professionalism like Tanner to be up at the crack of dawn handling my computer issues.
