- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to ask a lot of questions to find out what it is the customer wants out of our working relationship. Depending on the type of project, it is also important to get to know the customer on a personal level, so that I can understand what their writing style might be like.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in education. I was an English teacher for two years. I have also worked on several teacher education books for Scholastic. I currently work at a law firm drafting documents.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always enjoyed the writing process. I am constantly editing my work. In fact, that is probably my favorite part. I like to find and fix the errors in articles, books, essays, etc. I also enjoy helping writers find the right words to use to get their point across.
