From the moment I sent an inquiry to K9 Kountry through Thumbtack, I was instantly contacted by the owner, Butch. He was friendly, professional and very informative. He even sent me videos of the training they provided!
He had availability for our dog the following week & they took great care of our girl, Chesney. I was even able to call in & check on her! The price was very affordable and they provided her with exceptional training. Upon completion of the obedience course, she was able to sit, front, and heel without any hesitation. We were even given her own personalized training video and did a short handler's course together.
I can't thank Butch, Stan & Carie enough for taking such great care of our sweet girl & sending her back better than the way we left her! We recommend K9 Kountry to anyone in need of dogtraining.

Butch is a very insightful dog/people trainer! He teaches both the dog owner give specific cues to elicit different actions from their dog. Our dog Jack adapted very quickly to Butch's gentle methods. Jack is still learning and it will be an ongoing process at home but we know that if we utilize the tools that Butch has taught us that Jack will evolve into a very obedient and mindful dog. We still have one lesson to go and we're very happy with our progress so far. Thanks Butch!

Butch is amazing. My dog had severe fear angression and has a bite history. After being with Butch for several weeks, my dog is no longer aggressive and loves meeting new people. Not only did Butch work with my dog pertaining to his aggression, he also taught him skills and I'll continue to see Butch in the future for further training. If you dog needs help with aggression or obedience, K9 Kountry is the place to go! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

K9 Kountry did a fantastic job with my dog. He is not an easy mix but the training worked very well. Also, Yogi loved his trainers.

Butch( very experienced and knowledgeable about dogs and training)was more than willing to work with our troubled dogs Evee & Brodie ( both labs). We used his "Board & Train" (VERY AFFORDABLE) as a 2fer to board our dogs while we went on vacation. While gone to Mexico, we knew that our babies were in good hands for boarding AND training. While the results are not perfect dogs, we definitely see the improvements and know/understand what we have to do as "homework" to further instill what he has worked with them on, into their programming. Butch provided us with DVDs of both dog's actual training and instructions on each DVD while he was coaching them for us to follow. He also offered 6 months of free consultations if we need them. I highly recommend this place and will continue any further training here. Thanks Butch.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know them and their lifestyle, to make sure the dog fits in. We do this by asking everyone to fill out a profile of their dogs behaviors, goals, and then customising the dogs training to meet those goals. Our goal is to make your dog the best family member they can be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with the best military and police dog trainers in Denmark, Holland, Australia, and the best to be found in the U.S. and Canada.
Working and service dogs have been a lifetime commitment of mine and I still travel internationally giving training seminars and working with other top trainers
