I am a certified dog trainer. I will come to your home and work on specific behaviors with you and your dog and any behavior issues your dog may be having one on one. I like to take my time and go at you and your dog's pace.
I love getting to spend the time getting to work with you and your dog. Your dog will also learn better in your home rather than at a facility in a classroom setting with other dogs and people.

After our 3rd meeting I can confidently say my dog is on the right path. She's learned a lot more than I ever could teach her and I'm looking forward to the rest of the training. Her price rate is better than the traditional pricing when it comes to private training, in my opinion. Highly recommended.

Tena called me in a short amount of time, and was very friendly. My particular problem falls far outside the normal purview of any dog training, as such she had not encountered this before. She was very eager to brainstorm with me over the phone giving me several ideas on how we might rectify my situation. We spoke for about twenty minutes, and concluded with her asking me to keep her updated on the progress. She seemed genuinely caring for me and my dogs, even though she hasn’t met either of us. She was happy to help, and didn’t say she needed to come and give an in home consultation, that would have cost money, which I thought was extremely generous of her. Thank you again Tena!

Tena is amazing!
I had two badly behaved dogs that needed training. Tena helped me set up a list of behavioral goals for my dogs. She then provided a detailed training schedule to help accomplish those goals. After just a few weeks of weekly training sessions, my dogs can now sit, lie down, stay, and “leave it” on command. They now walk on a leash without pulling – something I was unable to accomplish on my own.
Tena is affordable, knowledgeable, patient, and dependable.
She teaches you how to train your dog so that you can practice commands on your own. I highly recommend Tena for any dog training needs.
