I’ve been with Coach Hicks for a number of years. All throughout my experience, it has been a family like environment with amazing coaching that feels like a one on one training session, even in a group environment. He has offered more advice and life tips than I can count and truly cares about his students and shows his love for the sport through the knowledge and experience he brings to his coaching. I’d never train with anyone else.

The coaches are great they really care about the kids on and off the mat I’ve had a great experience with this gym and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking to give their kids an opportunity to learn self-defense.

Coach Hicks is the most knowledgeable and caring coach I’ve ever had in my 12 years of training Martial Arts. I highly recommend giving him a try if you want to see the difference you’ve been missing.

When I say Hicks MMA changed my life, I could not be more sincere. Coach Hicks started training me and my best friend when we were only 14 years old. I was a young person dearly in need of guidance, discipline, confidence and direction. Marcus Hicks helped me develop all four. I was headed down a very bad path before I met Marcus and joined his gym. Having a home where I felt part of a team and that I had value in this world, changed my life. I learned many valuable lessons from Marcus through all of my years at the gym. Most of all, I learned what I am made of. Which is a hell of a lot. I owe much of who I am to Marcus Hicks, and my other “family members” from Hicks MMA. I am now 32 years old, happy as can be with my life... and still a member of the gym. I will be for life.

I love this place!!! Coach Hicks CARES about his students. I say students but everyone that joins becomes family. I can’t say enough good things about Coach Hicks and everyone at the gym. If you’re looking for a REAL gym to train at and want to learn how to defend yourself then Hicks MMA is the place for you. Just make sure to leave your ego at the door!
