I have been doing fitness and martial arts training with John Holt at The Academy for about 5 months now, and I have benefitted GREATLY from his instruction. John is extremely knowledgeable in anatomy, physiology, exercise science, and martial arts. I take the train to work downtown, so I regularly encounter disgruntled people with little to lose. After training Muay Thai, Boxing, and Kali, I now feel much more prepared to defend myself if I were to be attacked. I also have more confidence walking down the street.
