FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At JJESPIN Electric & Plumbing Services, I believe in fair, transparent pricing based on the scope and complexity of each project. Pricing depends on the type of work, existing conditions, materials required, accessibility, and any additional electrical or plumbing modifications. For electrical troubleshooting and service calls, my standard diagnostic visit starts at $50. Additional labor and materials are quoted separately when applicable. I provide clear estimates and explain the work before starting. Any additional work or unexpected costs are discussed with the customer for approval. My goal is to deliver quality workmanship, reliable service, and long-term value rather than simply offering the lowest price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process begins by understanding the customer’s needs and reviewing the details of the project, including photos when available. I ask questions to evaluate the scope of work and determine whether an on-site assessment is necessary. Before starting, I explain the proposed work, estimated costs, and any potential additional charges. Some projects require an on-site service call or diagnostic fee, which is communicated in advance. Once the details are agreed upon, I schedule the work, maintain clear communication, and focus on completing the project safely, efficiently, and with quality workmanship. My goal is to make every customer feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my degree in Electrical Engineering in Cuba, where I developed a strong foundation in electrical systems, technical principles, and problem-solving. After moving to the United States, I gained valuable hands-on experience working at Atlas AC, further developing my technical knowledge and practical skills. I also hold a Texas Residential Wireman electrical license (License #680665). My combination of engineering education, practical field experience, and continuous learning helps me approach residential electrical, plumbing, and home improvement projects with attention to detail, safety, and quality workmanship.
