We needed our guest bathroom remodeled and were glad to run into Roy. After reviewing several bids, reviews and quality of work, we decided to move forward with Roy. It's important to note that this was our first bathroom remodel, and we were new to all aspects of it. That being said, Roy walked us through each step, answered our many questions, and let us know what would work and what wouldn't. We really appreciated his honesty and patience with us. During the remodel, Roy and his team took care to make sure the rest of our house did not become dirty--they wore shoe slippers, and laid down builder's paper to protect our floor. They also cordoned off the guest bathroom from the rest of the home to prevent any sort of mess. Roy also suggested that we visit Floor & Decor to speak and confirm our style choices with a designer--this was very helpful. Additionally, Home Depot lost our bathtub, and when we ordered a new one, Roy was able to pick this up from Home Depot for us to cut down on the delivery time. It's worth mentioning that Roy was able to get this 350lb cast iron tub up to the second floor. Roy is also very committed to getting the finer details right, which is exactly what you want in any contractor. All in all, Roy and his team were a joy to work with, and we would hire again. It goes without say, that the remodel looks stunning.

Roy did really beautiful work on our kitchen. He and his crew tiled our kitchen floor, demolished the old counters and prepped them for new marble countertops and backsplash. Our walls in the kitchen had all kinds of imperfections and evenness and Roy got everything perfectly level and flat and the skim coating they did turned out so nice. We had a lot of specific things we knew we wanted going into the project and he listened to all of those details and made them happen just as we hoped. He was one hundred percent fair about everything. He’s also a genuinely nice person. It was always a good experience talking to him about the work. We could tell that he takes pride in what he does, and he also came up with some very effective solutions to the few unforeseen issues that came up. At one point, the marble company’s crew made a last-minute reschedule that moved the installation date up and Roy came in that morning and finished all the remaining prep work in one day. He worked very hard and got everything ready and perfect. We didn’t expect to have to have everything finished until the following day, but instead of saying it couldn’t be done, he showed up and said “don’t worry, we’ll work it out.” Great guy! Hard working, fair and honest. He and his crew really did beautiful work and we are so happy with our kitchen. We’re going to hire him again to come back and paint the cabinets. -Ashley and Will

Details: Installation of new cabinetry or fixtures • No, plumbing will not need to be relocated • No, electrical will not need to be relocated • Already have plans - just need installation • Residential

I really wanted to like this company. Roy was knowledgeable and professional. But his workers … not so much! I hired them to repair a leak behind my bedroom wall that was coming from the shower head in the adjacent bathroom. A slow drip had been pooling water behind the wall over years and years, rotting my baseboards and some of the lower sheetrock. We decided that, rather than breaking the tile in the shower to replace the shower body, we’d tackle it instead from behind, from the bedroom, as it’s easier to replace sheetrock. They opened up my wall, replaced the shower head, re-sheetrocked, re-textured and re-painted … but they never tested to make sure the leak was indeed properly plugged before rebuilding the wall! The drip returned shortly after they finished the job. Here I am, almost a year later, and I hear the drip drip drip behind the wall every time that shower gets used. A $2,000 repair for NOTHING!! Also: they did not bring the proper tools for the job—I had to lend them paint rollers, pans, a step ladder, etc—nor did they cover my carpet to properly protect it. I had to remove paint stains from the carpet after they left. And their “technique”, oh my! Instead of pouring the paint into a pan & dipping & rollong the roller horizontally into the pan to cover with paint … they dipped the roller vertically directly into the paint tub—making a mess and only covering the tip of the roller, for a very splotchy and uneven coverage. Even worse: after they’d dipped the roller in the paint can, they put the lid back on the can and stood on the paint can, using it as a stepstool to reach the upper wall!! That made the soles of their shoes dirty, then they stepped on my carpet. That’s when I offered them a drop cloth, my paint rollers, a pan, and a stepladder. Embarrasingly bad workmanship! I understand that recent immigrants may be accustomed to working without the proper tools, but this is America and we pay American prices for the work. Roy should train them better. I cannot recommend.
