This is the worst paint job ever and The Fix It Man says he is color-blind AFTER he painted my bedrooms. I hired Mr. Libby to paint 2 small bedrooms and 1 very small bathroom. He said it would be $1000. My daughter and I were concerned about the cost, but he said it would be a very professional job and therefore he charged a little more. When he said he was done after one coat, ALL the rooms looked horrendous! (See pictures below) He said he was done, and we said you need a second coat, there are spots of paint everywhere. He refused to put on the second coat, because he said it didn't need it. We were concerned because there was spots all over the walls, and I honestly suspected he was not himself, to be kind. His reason why it looked so bad? HE SAID HE WAS COLOR BLIND, TELLING US THIS AFTER HE PAINTED THE WALLS, AND THAT'S WHY HE COULDN'T SEE THE STREAKS AND MISSED SPOTS! My daughter and I spent the rest of the day helping him by putting tape where he missed. We aren't talking about a place here or there, there were streaks, areas completely missed, paint on the ceiling, and because he didn't tape anything off - paint on the trim in all 3 rooms, as well as paint several places on the floor in the bathroom that he didn't bother to clean up before he left. The worst part is he was so friendly that I literally got taken for $1000. He said he would come back to fix the spots, but instead, he cashed the check without finishing. He said he would come back for $1000 more to paint my living room, this is AFTER telling me he was color blind and leaving my house that way. I could not believe he cashed the check. I contacted him and he said he would return $200. That's an illogical amount since he literally put one coat on, not 2, so he did half, or less than half, of the job, especially if you consider the trim, ceiling and floor. The bid I received to paint a second coat in all 3 rooms, the ceiling in one room, the light switches, and the door trim in all 3 rooms, was much higher than $200. I forwarded him the bid and he never responded to my email. I feel so taken advantage of. Also, pertaining to the cost of the living room that he wanted to charge me $1000 to paint, paint not included, I hired another painter, with excellent reviews, who came highly recommended, and they charged me $200 for the living room, paint not included. They did 2 coats, not one, and it is beautiful. Mr. Libby says he is color blind, and yet he says he is a professional painter. It appears to me, he saw an older woman that completely trusted him, definitely my fault, and took me for $1000, didn't do the work, and cashed the check he shouldn't have cashed until the end of the job. I posted 10 pictures because that is all I am able to post on Angie's List. I have a total of 30 pictures all as bad as the ones posted and they have been given to the Better Business Bureau.

Mark was very punctual, hard working, knowledgable, and upfront with his work. He was able to fix a variety of my ill fitting doors, drywall some holes, remove some archways, frame a door, fix an outside window rot, and install crown molding, all in a day and a half. I look forward to working with him again due to his honesty and quality of work.
