We recently hired Joseph for various tasks around our home, ranging from hanging swings for the kids to some electrical work. We truly appreciated his positive and upbeat attitude throughout his time with us. It's always a pleasure to have someone who maintains such kindness and a good spirit while tackling home projects, especially when activities stretch into our dinner time with young children around! Joseph spent two days with us, one with me and the other with my husband. He assisted with several tasks, including installing outdoor dock lights, updating indoor electrical fixtures, and putting together a porch swing. Notably, Joseph was meticulous, often double-checking his work, which sometimes impacted the speed of project completion. There were a few hiccups along the way, such as lacking the supplies needed to complete the porch swing installation, unevenly set bathroom lights, and a ceiling fan that needed additional troubleshooting. These issues seemed to stem from the diversity of tasks, which may have been slightly beyond his core expertise. Additionally, there was a misunderstanding regarding the hourly rate for electrical work, which we quickly resolved through a discussion. It's a good idea to confirm pricing and the scope of work beforehand to ensure both parties are on the same page. Let me first say that I highly recommend Joseph and would hire him myself repeatedly as the need arises. Joseph came to assemble several pieces of furniture, some very challenging and time-consuming. He was scheduled to come on Friday, but on Wednesday, he checked in with me to confirm the appointment and volunteered to come early if necessary. Joseph was punctual, kind, and very professional. He kept us updated on his progress, and his final work was nothing short of superb. Joseph went above and beyond and delivered high-quality work. I highly recommend him.
