While I am a Christian pastor, I do not currently work in the context of a local congregation. This gives me flexibility that is often not available to pastors who work within a church setting. My current ministry (hospital chaplain) is interfaith and multi-cultural in its nature. That means that, while I minister according to my Christian faith, I am accustomed to ministering to individuals of other faiths (or of no faith) in a way that is respectful and non-judgmental. I get to be a part of sacred moments. In my "day job" as a hospital chaplain I often minister to people who are experiencing sad moments. My work as a wedding officiant enables me to balance this out by sharing in one of the most joyful moments of life -- marriage.

All travel expenses outside of Bryan-College Station must be paid in full using the IRS standard mileage rate ($0.575 per mile).
How did you get started doing this type of work?
As a teenager, I felt what many refer to as a "calling" -- a compelling and consistent drive that came from outside of myself -- into a life dedicated to bringing God's joyful and peaceful presence into the lives of others.
