Highly recommend Dane and Quantum Plumbing. We had a natural gas leak where the gas line enters our house, and Dane replaced the riser and fittings to fix the issue.
What impressed me most was his honesty. We were prepared to replace the entire gas line to avoid future problems, and Dane had every opportunity to oversell us. Instead, he correctly predicted that our existing underground line was already poly and recommended fixing only what actually needed to be fixed.
He provided a reasonable estimate the same day and completed the repair the next day. Throughout the process, Dane was friendly, informative, and thorough. He walked us through the best-case and worst-case scenarios and explained the different repairs that might be needed before starting the work.
Fair pricing, great communication, and someone I felt I could trust. I’ll definitely recommend Dane and Quantum Plumbing to anyone who needs a plumber.

Dane was incredible from start to finish. I had a main water line burst the night before Labor Day, just a few inches outside the City’s responsibility, and the timing couldn’t have been worse — I was set to bring my newborn son home from the hospital that next morning.
Even though it was late, Dane responded to my texts around 1 a.m. and got me scheduled for 8:30AM the following morning a few hours before we brought our son home. He quickly identified the problem, clearly explained what was going on and what needed to be repaired, and got right to work.
He had to dig out part of the yard to improve access to the pipe, and when he was finished, he put everything back so perfectly that you honestly can’t even tell any work was done. The grass looks untouched.
What really stood out, though, was the kind of person Dane is. He even left a small welcome gift for my son, completely unexpectedly. That meant a lot to us during a stressful first few days. He is the reason I also switched from Pampers to Huggies lol! Thanks for the recommendation.
Dane is knowledgeable, dependable, and genuinely a good, honorable guy. He and Quantum Plumbing have a customer for life. I’ll be calling them for any plumbing needs going forward, and I’d highly recommend Dane to anyone looking for a plumber they can trust and build a long-term relationship with.

Dane took away all my home headaches. Being a homeowner there seems to be something that constantly needs to be fixed around the house. Plumbing is just something I have no knowledge of. Dane was super friendly, polite, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. He made the entire process seamless. I had the pleasure of being referred to Dane for my toilet plumbing issues and he knew exactly what needed to be done and was very efficient with getting my toilet to work again properly. Within a few weeks, my dishwasher broke and during installation the technician mentioned that there was a broken value underneath my sink that needs to be fixed before moving forward. Dane was a such a pleasure to work with, I made a special request for my home warranty to contact him. The process was very tedious and a bit of a nightmare but Dane was super patient and assured me that dealing with a home warranty is typically difficult, but he was happy to stay back and make sure that my claim would be processed properly. Will continue to send referrals your way and keep you in my contacts. Highly recommend Quantum Plumbing and especially Dane.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Plumbers are required to do continued education every year to review any new and established plumbing code. In order to acquire a Masters license, which is required for every plumbing business, a minimum of 6 years on job training is required before testing can be requested.
The path in plumbing can look similar to this:
4,000 hours - Tradesman Plumber (Residential Only)
8,000 hours - Journeyman Plumber (Can work on any plumbing under a Master Plumber
To become a master you have to hold a Journeyman License for 2 years minimum, you then have to apply and pass the exam which consists of over 300 questions.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Last week we replaced a water heater for a customer that had been without hot water for two days, she had a very important meeting the next day and the plumbing company she called didn’t come ready for the job.
We were able to go out that evening and complete the install! She didn’t have to worry about starting her important day with a cold shower the next morning and was very pleased she found Quantum!

When it comes to plumbing work in the state of Texas you are required to carry a license to complete any work on a plumbing system. The reason for that is to protect you as the customer!
