FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is customized based on the scope and complexity of your project—no one-size-fits-all approach. I offer a free initial consultation to understand your goals and see if we’re a good fit. For smaller projects like renovations or finish-outs, I can often offer flat-fee packages. For larger or more customized work, pricing is typically hourly or based on a percentage of construction cost. I also offer bundled services when possible to save you time and money. Most importantly, I’m transparent—no hidden fees, just clear, professional service.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process always starts with a conversation—I want to understand your vision, needs, and budget before putting pen to paper. From there, I’ll guide you through each phase: initial concept design, refining the layout and aesthetics, preparing permit-ready drawings, and coordinating with contractors if needed. I keep communication clear and consistent, so you always know what to expect next. Whether it’s your first project or your fifth, I make sure the process feels approachable and stress-free.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a professional degree in architecture and have over a decade of hands-on experience designing everything from single-family homes to large-scale commercial buildings. Beyond formal education, I’ve led countless projects through permitting, construction documentation, and contractor coordination—skills you can’t always learn in a classroom. My training is backed by real-world results, and I stay current with local codes, materials, and building technologies to deliver designs that are both beautiful and buildable.
