- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I like to have a phone consult to understand my clients desires and the scope of the event. I follow up with a custom menu and proposal specific to each clients needs. Once everything is agreed to, we take a deposit and then await the event week. The week before the event, I ask my clients to provide a hard guest count. On the day of the event, we arrive 2-3 hours ahead of the start time and don't leave until everything is finished!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From an early age I had an affinity for cooking, after graduating college and working in commercial real estate for 4 years I knew I wanted to open my own business. I started out cooking bbq, just like my grandfather had taught me and quickly expanded my offerings in to all cuisines.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Guthrie's works with every type of client. From intimate private dinners of 10 guests, to non-profit galas of 500 guests, from corporate lunches to 1-YO birthday parties, we have done it all!
