The first job I had with Beauty that Racquel was for a photoshoot I was having. My makeup was BEA-U-TIFUL. Since then I have used her and added her in my packages for every client I have and they love her just as much as me. The makeup she does is art work. She takes her time so its not sloppy but is fast as the same time. She is soooooooooooooo knowledgeable of the products she uses and how your skin is. My biggest fear going to her as well as any makeup artist was blending. Taking pictures and you seeing that awful link with different skin color.. NO MAAM NO SIR she hits the color and blending perfectly everytime. Each one of my clients has had nothing wrong with their pictures. She ask you for pictures before hand and the creativity begins. Need anot amazing makeup artist PLEASE LOOK NO FURTHER AND I'M SERIOUS. I'm picky about who does my hair and makeup since moving back to Dallas I have been with Racq for almost a year.

I truly enjoyed my experience with Ms. Racquel. I'm not a huge fan of the "over done" makeup look and she was able to deliver JUST the look I wanted which was a natural face with a hint of color. She was even able to convince me to try a plum lipstick that looked amazing on my dark skin. I loved that she didn't try to engage in too much conversation because I hate an overly chatty makeup artist! I left totally feeling myself and even learned about how to select the right concealer shade. I plan to use her for future events and will definitely recommend her to my friends!

I absolutely loved how Racquel did my makeup for prom and what I loved more was that she can come to your house if you can't come to her. I was running a bit late and she still waited for me. If you are looking for somebody to do your makeup she is the way to go.

$65/look $100/per look on set of shoot
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to have a conversation to find out their preferences and ideas of the look they want me to execute prior to the appointment date. I come up with at least 3-5 ideas for options for my clients. I'm very personable so it's always a great time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended cosmetology school. I've been a dancer for many years so I've been wearing makeup since I was 2 years old. I'm a freelance makeup artist for MAC Cosmetics and I freelance mainly in the pro store.
