- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All clients start with a required initial consultation ($375). Before the session, you’ll complete a short intake form so I can understand your current situation, benefits, and goals. During the consultation (60–90 minutes), we walk through: • Your current work and income situation • How your income is being evaluated (including the 80% rule) • How FERS, SSDI, and/or VA benefits interact • What type of work realistically fits your situation The goal of this session is to give you clarity on where you stand and what your options are. From there, if additional support makes sense, we can move into more structured strategy services based on your needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My background includes working directly in the federal disability retirement space, where I specialized in evaluating cases, reviewing documentation, and helping clients understand how their medical conditions and job duties aligned with OPM requirements. I also hold certifications in federal retirement and disability management, and I’m currently completing my Master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling. My work is focused on translating complex federal rules into practical, real-world decisions.
