- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price by cubic feet(volume). We do not price by hour or weight. We prefer cubic feet as it is the most accurate way to calculate how much space is needed to be reserved per move. We have no hidden fees, We are very thorough with our discovery process and knowing every aspect we may face with with move. We account for every item we are moving, along with details of both locations for pick up and delivery to assess any stair, elevator, or shuttle fees that may need to be applied. We do offer many discounts and promotions. They are discussed with every client to determine the qualifications that determine which discount or promotion they are eligible for.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our customers, new and returning are our TOP priority. We ask discovery questions, such as, What is prompting the move? What their expectations are for the prospective company they are looking to hire? Have you moved like this before? What are your top concerns with moving? We want to know each customers needs as they differ in every situation so we can accommodate them as best as possible. We offer video consultations, over the phone consultations, and in certain areas of the country in-home consultations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have over 30 years of experience and knowledge in the moving/logistics industry. Here at Old Town Van Lines, morning meetings happen daily, weekly trainings are completed, and monthly evaluations are given for each and every team member we have in our company. Every individual that is part of our team completes an complex training workshop. With our company the sky is the limit with opportunities for our team members.
