Heather is a very, very good massage therapist. I have been quite satisfied with every massage that I have received from her. To be specific:
Heather is quite good at picking up on specific issues of musculature and working them out. She notices even minor stiffness or tightness (some that I had not noticed myself), and applies the correct pressure to resolve them.
She is quite good at adjusting the pressure that she applies to the individual. She can do very deep (which tends to be my preference), to light (which is necessary for some issues). Her technique is highly adapted to the individual, and the circumstances at the time of the massage. She is also quite knowledgeable in regard to musculature and general physiology.
She is also very good at setting the mood, to promote an optimal experience. She provides light mood music, as well as essential oils that enhance the massage.
Finally, she will notice and tell me when I am not relaxed and help me to get into the proper receptive state to get maximum benefit from the massage.
I have had five massages from Heather so far, and intend to continue regular sessions in the future. I would recommend her without the slightest hesitation for any patient, for any pressure range or physical issue.
