Introduction: Unlike many other companies (yes, even some here on Thumbtack), we are fully licensed for the work we perform. We carry a $2 million General Liability policy, Professional Liability, Workman's Comp, and are bonded. We also carry Pollution Liability, a policy only a small percentage of companies carry. We have been in business for over 20 years. We do not perform mold assessments/inspections or write remediation protocols. Those are done by third-party licensed Mold Assessment Consultants and per Texas regulations, we cannot do remediation without a protocol. You can visit the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) website and look up licensed Mold Assessment Companies/Consultants. Will you pay more for a quality company? Yes. But if you are on here looking for mold services, you must care a little bit about having it done right. Choosing someone that is not licensed and not working under the Texas regulations can put you and your family at risk. It's not worth it. We enjoy restoring healthy living and working environments for our clients. I get many phone calls from clients to tell me they love our crews and how caring and knowledgeable they are. You should feel safe in your home. Being able to provide that feeling for our clients is the best reward ever!

My experience with IAQM was excellent. I have a lot invested in my home in Highland Park, so choosing the best air quality vendor was essential. I had mold in my crawlspace and inside my living space, and allergens were also a problem. IAQM sent a team of experienced, top-tier professionals to remediate the situation and to create an environment to help ensure the problem would not likely return. The team all had great attitudes and were respectful to take care of my property. They even worked a full day on a major national holiday to ensure they'd meet their originally quoted timeframe, which was important for me. After the remediation was complete, I decided a vapor barrier and encapsulating paint was appropriate for the crawlspace. I also purchased two fresh air ventilating systems for two of my AC zones, which have proven highly effective in filtering out VOCs and allergens. I love the wi-fi enabled iPhone app/system they suggested that helps me know in real time that my air is clean and alerts me if any issues arise that may require my attention. My crawl space is immaculate now. Every contractor who has been down there for other services (i.e., the cable company, plumber, alarm system company) have all commented it is the nicest crawl space they've ever entered. This is the caliber of work that IAQM does. They're pricing is competitive too. IAQM exercised great care and kept me well-informed throughout the remediation process. It was a joy and privilege to work with these people.

They performed mold remediation. They are professional, honest, courteous, and punctual. The work ethic and the work performed was top notch and you get all of that at a great price. I would definitely refer them for mold remediation to anyone in the future...CJ

We had mold removal, repairs after removal and had our upper deck screened in. This is a very professional company from customer service to the courteous and well trained employees. We even felt comfortable giving them a key as this is our vacation home. The work was excellent as well as cleanup. The screened deck turned out even better than we could imagine. They were able remediate the crawl space under my house and then encapsulate the area so to prevent further moisture damage.

Working with IAQM has been a real pressure. Their availability to answer questions, & patience to educate me as a customer has been helpful & considerate. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. Each job is priced according to what the mold remediation protocol requires us to do. The mold remediation protocol is prepared by a third party.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will take time to educate our customers regarding the mold regulations in Texas and how the mold remediation process works. Once a customer has a mold remediation protocol, we provide a quote to perform that work.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our mold remediation supervisors hav completed the 40 hour course and passed the Texas licensing exam required for a mold remediation license. All our workers have completed the 4 hour Mold Remediation Worker course. We all participate in continuing education courses throughout the year.
