These guys were absolutely fantastic to work with. Beforehand, I coordinated with Jake, but my movers were Justin and Derrick. Everyone was friendly and professional. These guys definitely know what they are doing and can navigate the city like a snap. They didn't mess around with drive time--maybe they were using Waze, but they drove straight from house to house by the most efficient route, without stopping for gas or lunch or anything. We had a piano come with the new house (score!), but we didn't like the location and needed it moved--no problem. They expertly wrapped up all of our furniture and boxes, and took excellent care of everything. Justin and Derrick handled our stuff better and more carefully than we could have. They didn't take any breaks, not even to eat, even though it was a long hot day. I bought them some coconut water and sodas to drink, at least, along with some M&Ms. I offered them lunch, but they declined. I felt bad that they didn't eat anything--if I was hungry, then they must have been starving! Throughout the day, they were friendly and cheerful, working quickly and efficiently. These guys did not stop for anything--it was really amazing to watch, because it was hard work. They put down mats and bumper pads on the doorways, carefully wrapped our bed and sofa in plastic, and put all of our clothes inside hanging wardrobe boxes so that we didn't have to iron or dryclean anything. They took the picture frames and mirrors off the walls, and carefully moved our lamps. Our flatscreen TV was handled like a baby. Since the new place has newly refinished hardwood floors, they even put felt pads down on every piece of furniture before carefully setting them down. They took note of which boxes were which and put them in the appropriate rooms without being asked. We are incredibly happy with the service they provided. Justin and Derrick definitely earned every penny with their nonstop hard work. It was a long day for them and I was happy to tip them 20%. Highly recommend, and we will definitely use Aplus Movers again whenever we need to move again.

My daughter and her new husband were moving into a new apartment so I went online to Thumbtack to help her schedule her move. I got 5 different quotes but Aplus Movers stood out with the number of starts they had and as well as the price. So I called up and booked the day and Carl and Justin showed up to move their stuff. Well we had 4 stops to make but each stop was within a minute away and they ended up doing all that in just 2 hours. They were good!! By the time we got to the apartment I had marked everything with yellow and green stickers. Green to go upstairs and yellow to go in the garage. Well they made sure that everything was in its rightful place. Carl and Justin worked their butts off. They were awesome, polite, hard working and just all around great guys!! I would definitely ask for them next time I need movers. Also I had some questions for Jake back at the office. He was so nice and polite on the phone. He answered all my questions and took care of some things I asked for. I would totally use these movers. They took such great care of all of the furniture and for Carl and Justin having to go up two long flights of stairs that was just awesome. They really did a phenomenal job. The five stars aren't enough!! They should get 10!!!

I would give this moving company 10 stars if I could! They came recommended by a Friend, so I figured I could trust these guys plus the Thumbtack reviews were great. I have used All My Sons out of Dallas a few times in the past and always end up with things missing so I was looking for a new mover. Not only did they wrap all my furniture, unlike the other company, they completed the job in about 3 hours less time. This saved me a substantial amount of money. Justin and Charles were friendly, polite and extremely helpful, working the entire time. I had moved up to Frisco for a short stay while a family member was at Dallas Medical Center and dreaded doing the move back to Frisco after having a bad experience with the last yahoos. Aplus Movers made what could have been another stressful day, a pleasant and nice surprise for a change. In all the years I have moved my dining room hutch, no one ever was able to remove the glass shelves so I worried that they would break (luckily, they never did). Justin took one quick look, turned the glass shelves upright and slid them out between the crack where the doors attach to the hutch. I can't believe that the previous mover did not know to do this, but then again, I don't think I dealt with professionals. I have just about unpacked everything and there is nothing broken. I can't stress how much different Aplus Movers was compared to the other company. Take it from someone who has had to move 6 times in about 12 years, these guys you can trust, pricing is better than others. The staff was great to deal with from the ones on the phone when I booked to the two young men who got me back to Frisco. TEN stars!!!

We typically charge on an hourly rate with some sort of trip/fuel charge depending on where the job is located and going to. We provide free no obligation in home estimates to our customers.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we want to gather as much information about the move from the customer to give the best quote as possible, and plan for any possible snags that can be prevented before the move date. If the job is lager and more complicated we recommend sending the owner out for a free no obligation estimate to make a game plan with the customer, and provide a solid price for the move.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner has been the business owner since 2002. He has been around the industry since 1992 when his father opened up a moving company that is still running and serving the metroplex today. Jake has extensive training in the industry from the ground up. With this knowledge he is able to provide the best service to his customers and great training to his employees on proper transport methods.
