FAQs
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
My main emphasis is overall health. I offer spiritual healing along with lifestyle coaching to really get deep and help people move their entire life and being into a healthy place. I can also help with more aesthetic goals like weight loss and toning. One of my favorite is helping young athletes transition from mediocre to an elite level. I recently worked with a high school football player who began playing only in the 10th grade and after and was considered an average or mediocre player by coaches. After working with me for about a year he increased his speed, agility, quickness, power, strength, and endurance. His weight went from 215 to 290 with very little fat gain. His 40 yard sprint went from 6.1 seconds to 4.9 seconds. This fall he will be attending Penn State University on scholarship as he plays for their football team. I am very proud of his accomplishments and know that I can help many other young athletes have similar success.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When hiring a fitness coach or personal trainer the most important thing should be their Education and understanding of the science behind their work. Many “fitness professionals” are people who either have always been in great shape or who have made substantial progress in their own fitness journey. It is easy to look at these people and think, “if they can do his themselves then surely they can help me with it.” The reality is they were simply following steps aid out by others and the route they took may not benefit you as it may not account for genetic or lifestyle differences. Look for someone that has a back ground in science and can modify the plan to fit your needs and limitations. A deep understanding of human nature both physiological and psychological is key.
