Introduction: My name is Chef T. L. Hooker and I have been in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 22 years. My experience is wide ranging, originally being from El Paso TX my heart and soul is Mexican cuisine, but my favorite type of food to make has to be French and my menu reflects that. I like taking influences from Asian cuisine and utilizing the techniques to create compelling deep flavorful taste profiles. My time in Homer Alaska taught me the fine art of seafood and the amazing flavors they produce. I was mentored by high caliber integrity driven chefs, most recently at the Dallas Country Club where I fine tuned my skills that has now taken me to the personal chef industry, where I am grateful and fully humbled working with my clients to provide memorable meals and relationships that transcend food.

Tim was absolutely spectacular!!! This was my first experience with having an in home chef and he did not disappoint!!! He was very professional and knowledgeable, took all of our accommodations into consideration, very clean and attentive, explained each dish thoroughly and the food was definitely 5 star quality. The food was just absolutely amazing especially the presentation! This was an Anniversary surprise for my husband and we haven’t stopped smiling since last night! I loved everything about our experience and we’re looking for a reason to rebook again!!! Thank You, thank, thank you!!! Anniversary dinner at home on the deck was an awesome success!!!

We had the loveliest time and such an incredible dinner & experience. Chef Tim and his sous-chef were so professional and made for a really fun evening celebrating my parents’ 40th anniversary. The charcuterie was the best I’ve had and the meals were incredible. So grateful for a five star experience!

T. L. Was honestly incredible!! I got invited to a work party and he came and set up and cooked one of the most amazing meals I think I’ve ever had. And at times we almost forgot he was there, just doing his thing as we had some really deep talks about work and life. I was so impressed that I booked with him for my mom’s birthday, and our family as well as all of her friends were all blown away by the food, and he and his Sous Chef were super friendly and fun to engage with. I think they had almost as good of a time as we did, and you can tell they love the work they do. They were extremely respectful, and what my mom (and me) loved the most was that they did all the dishes (even ones that they didn’t dirty but were just sitting in the sink) and cleaned the kitchen up real well as they picked up!! That’s world class right there! The presentation of the tomahawk steak probably had all of us drooling just a little bit. Or a lot. The Filet Mignon? Still dreaming about the next excuse I can make to convince myself to pay for him come make it again. Maybe a special date night, maybe my dog’s birthday, who knows, but I can’t wait. His whipped avocado spread on sourdough bread? To die for. Get a bottle of wine (or a few) and book with this guy, I promise you won’t regret it. -Cory

    22 years starting as a dishwasher and busser and worked my way up the kitchen ladder learning under many different types of chefs and cooks. The last 12 years were spent in hotels, country clubs, and fine dining alongside extremely talented and professional chefs that shaped how and why I cook today.
