I have a passion for instruments. From the time I was a small child, I knew I had an extreme passion for organs and pianos. I will go above and beyond to restore/repair an instrument. We had a piano moved and tuned 2 weeks later. The process was very smooth and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would use again for regular tuning and for any future moves.

Everyone I spoke with was very kind and knowledgeable. They are definitely not just movers - they are piano people! The only thing that kept them from getting 5 stars was the wait time, which was apparently the result of a misunderstanding between the mover and the person who scheduled the appointment. The mover was very apologetic and professional. Overall, I'm very happy with this company and will use them again in the future.

Michael did 4 hrs of tuning, tweaking and testing and our old piano sounds great. and what a nice, interesting guy, so knowledgeable about music, art and books. He showed and explained everything he was doing, which was so interesting. I now have a new respect for my old piano!

He said he would be here by 2 and the quote I was given was $95 but he didn't get here until after 3 PM and we ended up paying $300 for what needed to be done when I said what needed to be done in the first contact. But he did do a good job.

Sometimes an instrument has to have some repair before a tuning can be achieved. Mr. N was there and I explained that to him. I reduced the fee for the services to help. I like that Michael tries to explain what he's doing to us as he worked. He did a great job eliminating the little twangs I hear from my piano. My only minor concern was he was late in arriving at the house. After 15 mins I had to call and leave a message to ask if he was still coming. I am hoping now that he will be able to fix my old Wurlitzer organ. He said he will check on his diagnostic books and get back to us.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Standard Tuning service is $125. We do offer $30 discounts to Thumbtack customers. All other service pricing is available upon request.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would first speak with the client to see what their expectation of the instrument would be and proceed next to the instrument to insure that it has the capability to exceed those expectations.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a passion since I was a very young child.
