I was skeptical about installingsecurity cameras for the home because I wasn’t sure what was a fair price and what quality of work would be provided. After going on the next door app, I saw a recommendation for Thumbtack so I decided to give it a try. West Wind Communications had great real reviews for installers in my area so I decided to reach out for a quote and they gave me a fair deal along with the specifics of what their services entailed. James and Taylor showed up as the expected time and explained everything that they were going to do and allowed me to ask questions for reassurance. We had some issues with getting remote access to the NVR but James stayed until we were able to get it revolved. I highly recommend them as they didn’t try to upsell me on any other recommendations and was wanting to ensure my cameras covered all points of potential access to my home. 100/10.

We had James do some networking tasks and the equipment he installed is very professional and neat. Works perfectly.
I would choose all 5 of the items we liked but they only let us chose 3.
We will use him on any future needs.

I would choose West Wind over and over again. They installed four hard-wired cameras, dropped cables, set up the monitor and a system, and showed us how to use the system. Great work, great price, and a great guy. I also very much appreciated the quoted work so I know what kind of price I was looking at. Highly recommended!!

I was originally going to have a nest doorbell and camera installed. After speaking with James and being educated on self monitoring homesecurity systems, my husband and I decided to have our own monitoring system installed. We couldn't be more excited and pleased with it. We had a doorbell and two cameras installed, that came with a DVR for recording. The price of the services we recieved are comparable to most commercial security systems, minus the monthly monitoring fees which is a big plus. James is very professional and fast. He also made sure we were able to use the system before he left and even helped afterwards when I had questions. I highly recommend using West Wind Security for your homesecurity needs.

Typically we gather information about your need and we formulate a unique plan that will work best for you and your home or business.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have trained technicians in the area of low voltage, various system diagnostics and installations. We are also licensed by the state of Texas for security and camera installations.
