Browse these wood stairs and railings repairers with great ratings from Thumbtack customers in Dallas.
Dan replaced wooden porch rails pickets. Work included painting the new wood and attaching the rail assemblies to brick pillars. Quality of work was good, rails were mounted well and were symetrical. Work was done in a timely manner. Rate was very reasonable.
Outstanding experience with Rosalio and his crew. They removed popcorn ceilings, wood paneling, repaired and installed new drywall, and applied texture throughout my entire house. Gamez Drywall exceeded my expectations.
Juan replaced my broken attic stairs. He was prompt, professional and very personable. I highly recommend him.
Josh was very professional and provided me with a quote to repair rotted door casing. Josh went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly and did not over sell repairs to me. I will more than likely be using him when other repairs pop up.
Billys Services took on the job of replacing all of the water lines leading from the city meter to and throughout my house. As part of that job, his men also replaced the bathroom floor and all of the bathroom fixtures. Additionally, the drain from the kitchen sink was rerouted to allow the water to flow more directly to the sewer line. Because my hot water heater is powered by natural gas, the tank had to be replaced in order to comply with my citys building code. Once everything was in place, the bathroom floor and walls around the bathtub were tiled and the rest of the walls painted. All of this work was scheduled for completion within a two-week period. Heavy rains, however, caused the job to last a few days longer. Overall I am extremely pleased with the work done by Billy Blankenship. His workers were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. I was given a projected cost before the work ever commenced and the job did not exceed that amount. In my opinion, Billy Blankenship is very honest and is more than willing to work with his potential customers to ensure their complete satisfaction. I would definitely recommend his service to anyone whose home is in need of plumbing and/or remodeling. The only thing I could suggest as an improvement to his company might be better communication with and among those who work for him.
Andre and his team removed an old metal fence in our backyard and driveway, and installed an 8' and 6' wood fence. The job was made difficult because of numerous large rocks and buried cement. The Ascot crew worked incredibly hard and put up a great fence. The job was completed in only 2 days and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Ascot Fence.
Wood fence repairs and 2 posts. Honest, timely, good price point, respectful and informative. Overall great customer service. Will use them again and I highly recommend!
Issac did an amazing job and was able to help us out same day with a couple of door issues (exterior metal and wood doors). He is super professional, accommodating and went above and beyond to make us happy and get the job done. He went out of his way to help us out and I'm extremely greatful for the help. I would recommend him to anyone needing carpentry work and we will definitely be using him in the future on other projects.
We hired Roberto for a fairly large size job, installing approx 2500 sq ft of wood flooring and painting 80% of a 3300 sq ft house. Robertos crew did a great job and were very professional. I highly recommend.
Our project was to remove the protruding fireplace from our living room and put recessed oak shelves in its place. This involved demolition of the existing structure, moving the fireplace gas line for an outside grill, building an arch in the resulting recess, matching the existing wall and ceiling texture, painting the entire room, tiling the bare spot on the floor, matching the existing grout, and building / staining / installing the custom oak shelves. At first we were unsure about using a handyman company to do our living room remodel. We met with several contractors, and Brett (with Mr. Fixit Fast) asked the most questions, offered the most suggestions, and took the most measurements before committing to an estimate. We chose to work with Holly and Brett, and we were not disappointed. Brett was prompt in the morning and cleaned up after himself each day. Prior to and throughout the project he communicated with us exceptionally well; both via phone calls and texts. In the first week, during demolition, Brett discovered that the builder didn't make the ceiling joists long enough to be fully supported by the outside wall. Due to his care, he was able to catch their mistake and build a second set of supports just inside the outside wall's studs. Even with the second set of supports, the depth of the shelves was exactly the 12 inches that we wanted. The arch construction matches our existing arches throughout the rest of the living room because Brett actually traced one of them so that it would be perfect. Brett's grout color choice matches our existing grout perfectly, and the oak shelf stain matches our new couch and ceiling fan color. Every step of the project was done with great care and craftsmanship. I was home for a good number of days during construction, so was able to witness it first hand. The finished product looks amazing, and my wife and I couldn't be happier. We will definitely be using Mr. Fixit Fast for all of our future projects.
Paul Granado is the real deal! When I set out to do some repair work on a deck railing that had water damage, I was not expecting to get a TOP Notch CARPENTER... but I got just that! Very well spoken, very knowledgeable, very professional, has all the tools, non-smoker, and attention to detail. What a great experience. If you have a bad thing to say about your experience... I would find that hard to believe! I own a General Contracting company for 25 years in Dallas... I know what I know. This man is the Real Deal. Thx. Paul.
Ramiro did a great job handling many different tasks in my house, mostly involving weatherstripping, replacing rotted wood, and repainting. He is friendly, reliable and I will definitely use him again.
Did a wonderful job on our custom baby gate for our stair case. It is exactly what we were wanting and then some. Very good detail on his work and would definitely use him again if we have any future projects.
I had a privacy fence gate that needed repairing. I contacted James and he responded immediately and agreed to come and give me a quote. The quote was within budget so we set up a time for him to come and do the job. He arrived on time and finished the job within time frame he had given. The quality of the work was excellent. I was happy with the outcome and will definitely call him in the future for other projects.
Roofing and Remodeling of Dallas did a fantastic job repairing our damaged Lucas, TX home's roof, trim and skylights after a devastating hailstorm. Mr. Bohnenkamper successfully negotiated a full recovery from all the hail damage from our home insurance agent, surpassing our expectations and replacing our fire-prone wood shingle roof with a new 50-year warranted composition roof and an expert updated paint job on all our exterior trim. The entire multi-step job was accomplished in a very acceptable timeframe and we were minimally inconvenienced. R & R of Dallas was a pleasure to do business with and we would happily use them again in the future.
We recently had Rutger do a flagstone back porch for us and we couldnt be happier with the final result. Everyone was very professional and kept us updated with there progress and timeline. We are VERY picky and they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. I will reccomend them to everyone.
Ron Ridings Larson helped when we moved and did excellent repairs. Then at our new home he put in new laminate floors also a wooden fence, and recntly installe 2 tvs on our wall professionnally. he can do anything and do it with quality, very talented. Also is coming back to put in a patio cover soon. Highly recommend his work.
I have had ,Tony, do three seperate jobs for me, and each was done in a timely and professional manner. Of the most obvious of the three jobs, the most notable is my front outer entry way which included replacement of bad wood and painting. I have received numerouse compliments from people who had seen what it was like before. There was no dripped paint on my porch or brick. I would highly recommend him, and intend to hire him again next year, '2015'.
Interior painting and texturing of ceilings. Also did small exterior replacement of rotted wood trim. Great job!
Dave did a very good job for us. He came out and diagnosed that we had a section of our sliding glass door frame that had moisture rot. He was able to cut out the bad section, go to Home Depot and get treated wood, sealer and paint. He replaced everything in about 2 hours. His charge was very reasonable and we will use Dave again.
Excellent!!! This guy showed up in a nice clean uniform, tools in hand ready to work. Every thing is so fresh, clean. I love the quality of work. He installed my sink, faucet, disposal, water softener system and drywall repair. He even repaired wood under sink.
