FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically work with flat rates so the client knows exactly how much they can expect to spend on our project. The flat rate differs based on the scope of the project and is different from person to person. I always try to work within my clients budget. Occasionally work must be billed hourly for different projects and my hourly rate is $50.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I have any potential new clients fill out my client intake form located on my website. Second, I like to have an introduction either via phone or zoom to get to know one another and hear further about the project. I might assign some homework for my client like creating a mood board of images, color and inspiration so I can start to understand the vibe of what you're wanting to create. The more information I have up front- the less guess work there is during the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (class of 2009) and graduated with a BFA in graphic design with a concentration in illustration. I started officially freelancing in 2013 (I worked as a display coordinator at Anthropologie, taught art lessons, and worked a few other smaller jobs before becoming a full time freelancer).
