Introduction: I treat everyone, including children, with respect. While reviewing, I pay close attention to which concepts need reinforcing. With positive reinforcement, I will break down each concept, formula, and problem to the fundamentals to see which missing details I can fill in. Students start to have fun getting the right answers when we take the time to practice problem solving together. With patience and encouragement, your child will build confidence in their problem solving abilities. In addition to working on school assignments, I will bring math games and activities to keep the subject engaging. I enjoy working with students of all ages, I have always been sort of a helper type. I love to help 'connect the dots' when someone is struggling with understanding, so I will be very patient, and able to assess and complement the student's learning style and pace. I enjoy working as a tutor because I love to see students grow confident and independent throughout learning.
