This job was to wire and hang a chandelier.The task required the installation of a ceiling box (measuring, locating ceiling joists, cutting the hole in ceiling Sheetrock, making sure the box arms were properly stressed into the joists), removing existing double gang wall switch box (removing switches, identifying existing power, neutrals, travelers and grounds, removing existing wall box, measuring and cutting sheetrock to accommodate three gang box for new and existing light switches, installing the new box), running new service wire from new ceiling box through attic insulation, drilling new hole in top plates and pulling new service wire down through wall to new box), rewiring three wall switches and securing them in the wall box, hanging the chandelier and adjusting chain length to satisfy wife, testing all connections to assure proper operation and grounding, Cleaning up work areas on completion of job. This was excellent work that was very professionally done by Garrett. He gave very knowledgeable answers to all of our questions and was a real pleasure to have in our home. We highly recommend this man and the company he represents. We'll definitely look to him again when the need arises.

When the utility pole that supports the meter and electrical service to my house broke, Will came over and examined the situation. Since it was not something that needed to be fixed immediately, he investigated some different options for the replacement of all the components, since they were original obsolete equipment from 30 years ago. Once we decided on what to use, he scheduled a day for the work, coordinated the disconnection with the power company, replaced all of it from the ground up, and had the electricity back on the same day. He used quality components, and the workmanship was excellent. Highly recommended.

Will went above and beyond to troubleshoot and fix electrical problem. 5 rooms in the house plus the garage were without electricity but in each room about half the lights and half the outlets worked while the rest did not. It seemed to be an odd pattern covering almost half the house. He started with the obvious but when that didn't provide results, he methodically went through the process of elimination. After checking 2 outlets that didn't work, bec of his expertise and years of experience, he checked an outlet that did work.....and much to my amazement, that's where the problem was. Will spent 3 hours troubleshooting, tracing and retracing his steps and fixing the problem. I'm very impressed with his professionalism, his 'can do' attitude, attention to detail and willingness to stick with it until he resolved the problem. I highly recommend him and without doubt will not hesitate to call on him again.

Their electrician was very good, understood exactly what I wanted and completed in a timely manner. Changed out light fixtures, pe cell, outlet, and switch. Was given quote and they stood by their price. I would highly recommend West End Electric.

    Ask about warranties and be sure to ask about products used because some companies will not extend these to cover materials. We choose the best quality materials and will cover them. Better materials mean a better project every time.
