FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Continuing education is imperative to personal trainers, not just because there are constantly new studies and exercise trends coming out but, I feel, you can never know everything about one topic and gaining new knowledge doesn't only benefit myself but I can use it to help my clints. To maintain my certification I'm required to achieve my continuing education credits every two years.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved sports and being active, after leaving the Air Force I knew I still wanted to do something to benefit people. After my first certification I knew this was what I was going to be doing. It's just work if you don't have the passion and drive to be doing it, and training isn't work for me it's what I love doing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Strength training, Weight loss/management, Sports specific training (Baseball/Basketball/Football) Not only for adults but kids as well
