- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a $99 diagnostic fee for most standard service calls. After diagnosing the problem on-site, we provide a clear written quote before any repair work begins. The diagnostic fee is applied toward the repair when approved. We do not give ballpark repair prices over the phone because the right price depends on the exact failure, model, and parts needed.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start by gathering the appliance brand, model number, and the symptoms you are experiencing. From there, we schedule a service visit, arrive within the agreed window, and perform a professional diagnosis. Once the issue is identified, we explain the problem in plain language and provide a written quote before any repair is performed. If you approve the repair, we move forward with the work when possible and keep you informed throughout the process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Veltrix Appliance Repair is backed by formal HVAC/R and electrical training, along with appliance-related diagnostic experience. We are a Texas licensed contractor and insured, and we bring a strong technical foundation in refrigeration, electricity, controls, and systematic troubleshooting. Our approach is built around accurate diagnosis, safe workmanship, and clear communication with the customer.
