Julie was a fantastic trainer!! We booked her for two hours, for two dogs and it was worth every penny. One technique she taught us was a game changer. Had our take away only been that one technique?? We would do it again as the difference it made was amazing. Having Julie come to our home and touch on all of the training areas in a familiar setting to our pets, meant we could easily reinforce the commands and be consistent. That was....the best decision ever.

With one visit our puppy issues of biting and growing disobedience were solved! I thought I could handle a puppy but this golden doodle challenged us. Julie and Jenna are great! Jenna has been working with my baby Finley for about a month now and I have seen significant progress with his behavior and integration into our home. Finely was rescued from the pound right before Christmas. Prior to training, Finley basically ran the house. We believe that he may have possibly come from an illegal breeding situation and ended up in the pound. Finley had some unique issues due to his difficult start in life. Jenna has worked with our family on Finley's anxiety, house training, crate training, listening when called, walking on a leash, and integration into a new home. Jenna is seriously the dog whisperer, she totally understands Finley and he LOVES her! Jenna has given us the tools and suggestions we needed to help Finley become comfortable with his new sister and relaxed in his forever home. I am looking forward to our last session tomorrow and I am so happy that we found you guys! Thank you for everything you have done for our little family!

Of the two dog trainers I reached out to on Thumbtack, Julie was quick to respond and discussed the issue I was having. It was a day later before the other training group responded and then it was just a generic response. They didn’t even address my problem. I got an appointment set up with Julie and she was very prompt and gave me great training techniques and suggestions to use. I would highly recommend her.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a starting flat rate of $50 per session and goes up from there based on mileage. We spend 45 to 60 minutes with each client answering questions and giving you advise. We don’t watch the clock. Our goal is to make sure your questions are answered and you have the tools you need to do the homework needed before your next session. We do offer a military discount and a rescue discount. If you rescued your dog from a shelter or rescue group please be sure to ask us about our reduced rates! We want to give you the best chance at making your home that dogs FUREVER HOME. 🐶
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will call them and discuss what challenges they are having. We will discuss goals and them tailor a program to work on solving their issues together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did a year long internship and also went though a specific shelter trainer class with Uncle Matty, Matthew Margolis. He is a well known and respected professional in this industry.
