Monica was amazing! My fiancé and I have never gotten professional photos taken before and we had no idea how they were going to go. Monica instantly knew what to do and what to have us do in order to get the shot. She even made sure to capture all the poses I had on my Pinterest board. Monica was awesome to work with! She responded very promptly after I sent her my request and we were able to get a session scheduled just a couple weeks later. She helped us pick a place that was scenic and also dog friendly, and she was great at getting us (including my puppy) to pose in a way that looked natural and photogenic. She was really quick to post the photos on facebook (I think she uploaded them the same day). We're still waiting for her to finish her edits but we love what she's done so far and can't wait to see the final photos!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography has been a passion of mine since I first dipped my toes in the art form during an after school class in elementary school. Over the years, I’ve continued to practice and learn new techniques, and I love to share my photos with friends and family. They soon started requesting portraits, and referring their friends, and that’s when I decided to make a business out of it.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Most people aren’t naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Find a photographer that you are comfortable around and that can treat you like a person, not just a paycheck.
