Hi there! I'm Sadi Brooke. What sets me apart from most photographers is that I am also a makeup artist. Having 9 years of experience as a makeup artist has allowed me to develop an eye and a passion for beautiful photos. I've been an artist for as long as I can remember. Art was my first love and I have always known that any profession of mine would have to involve it in some way. I've taken interest in many art forms over the years and my creative journey has lead me here!

After speaking with several photographers through thumbtack, my husband and I chose to use Sadi Brooke Photography. Sadi was extremely professional and friendly through our whole process. She captured all the important moments of our big day from wedding decor details to our grand exit! Our wedding was outdoor in the evening and she managed to get great shots even though our lifting was poor.
She was also able to capture some great action shots of friends and family on the dance floor
As well as our 8 month old son.
Her pricing is extremely reasonable for the amount of work she put into our big day. She was always quick to respond to my needs and remained in contact with me from the moment I hired her up until now when I still have questions. She fulfilled extra requests from me like giving me pictures early so I could send out Christmas cards.
We were given a gallery of 100 high reso photos that were easily downloadable to Dropbox along with a printing release.
When considering a photographer for our next session we will definitely use Sadi.

Sadi is absolutely amazing!! She did everything for me on my wedding day,and I don't know what I would have done without her. Hair and makeup were fabulous, she listened to everything I requested and delivered it perfectly, art in the form of makeup. I looked stunning, she gave me total confidence for my day! My pictures came out breathtakingly beautiful. She was patient with all of us when it came to directing, and payed attention to the details, she captured all of our special moments and brought them to life in high quality photos. Her edits came out great and she got them to me quickly. I got sneak peeks and updates often until she got them delivered. So if you are looking for someone to cater to all of your beauty and photography request for whatever the occasion may be, I highly recommended booking with Sadi. Her prices were reasonable, and she was great to do business with! Not to mention her assistant was a major bonus and such a great help. What an amazing experience, I will never forget about everything she helped me with, and she left with great memories of how and who I spent my day with preparing for the best day of my life, and giving me so many beautiful pictures of the day I became Mrs. Calderon with all of my dear family and friends. You will not be disappointed. Thank you so much Sadi, for everything!

Sadi is AMAZING! We booked a full package with her of engagements, bridals, and wedding day- PLUS hair and make up for each, and I am SO glad we chose her! We couldn't be happier! Her style and her talent show through every picture. She mentioned during one shoot that she was a "perfectionist" as if it were a bad thing!? :) But, when you are taking wedding pictures, "perfect" is what you can hope for, and she definitely delivered!

Sadi has been an absolute pleasure to work with! After much deliberation for a wedding photographer, we chose her without hesitation. We weren't looking for a one-time photographer, we wanted someone we could call on for all of our special milestones for years to come. Creativity and attention to detail are a must, and Sadi is the very definition. Not only does her talent shine through her photography portfolio, you also get a sense of knowing her for years just through communication. Sadi is detail oriented, and it all starts from first point of contact with her. Her work speaks for itself, and is if that weren't enough...She does hair + makeup too! She doesn't lack in any of her skill trades, and focuses on the fine details of every aspect. Our engagement photos couldn't be more beautiful, and we are eager to have Sadi join us on our special day in October!

I hired Sadi for 6 hours coverage of our wedding day, plus 2 hour engagement picture session.
Pros: The pictures I think were gorgeous and bright colors which I really wanted. I like bright and happy pictures in general, so I definitely wanted them from my wedding day. She caught some really sweet moments like when my new husband had to pick up the train from my giant dress to help us get to our portrait spot. Also she and did a great job to get pictures of the look on my husband's face when he saw me walk down the aisle. (We chose not to do a first look since our wedding was at 11am.)
A huge challenge we had was that our church doesn't allow flash photography during the wedding because it is considered distracting and disrespectful. Sadi handled the weird indoor lighting during the photo editing afterwards and the pictures are lovely.
She surprised us with a second shooter for the wedding, which was amazing. She also was super nice to us when we got our engagement pictures. We aren't used to posing and as you can see, both of us are a little overweight so she was helpful in coaching us to pose in flattering ways.
Cons: I will say I don't think she's as used to early in the day weddings. It was difficult for us to figure out a timeline to get everything done since she wasn't able to get to the church before 9am and usually she needs 3 hours before the ceremony to get detail pictures/getting ready/group pictures. I don't think this is specific to Sadi as much as it might just be easier in general to have a wedding a little later than 11am.
Other thought I had was our formal portraits weren't as good as the candid pictures, but that's true because it's hard to get a lot of people to squish together to smile. I urge people to keep the list of formal pictures short so she has more time for the natural candid pictures.
