Mark was hired to develop plans for a client of mine in Lucas, Texas. Mark charged the customer $5000.00 and told us all that the plans would be delivered in 10 days. We are 7 weeks into this and Mark has not been communicating with us. Mark has also told the customer he is the home builder when he is the architect. He claimed that his staff was on a missionary trip overseas and that was causing the delays. He says he is in the hospital at times. he goes weeks and weeks without communicating and I'm going to recommend to the client that he get his money back due to Mark's refusal to communicate.

Hi Sean,
I need to make a few things clear with you:
1) You hired us as the Contractor (mediator) between your client and us.
2) Your clients referred to you as "SEAN" which is not what Thumbtack shows you referred to yourself as. THIS is part of a major problem the clients had which took a while to rectify ourselves. I would like to add that the clients on several occasions stated they had issues working with you (to which we replied "we report to'DONALD' and that was to be respected". Never once have we disrespected the relationship between you and your client(s).
3) Your clients were advised that we needed to submit according to city rules. We were told by Mr. Hill that they had a special communication with the city and that we didn't have to submit as we were told.
4) We received a basic satellite picture to pass as a survey and we told to honor the electrical connections (which aren't showing anywhere in there) and the septic lines (which do not show appropriate measurements for location). THIS means that we have to use the information at hand to create some sort of acceptable site work page. Keep in mind we only meet with them a few weeks ago to receive all this info.
5) We've been communicating with you and then but have been working to make sure we get this right so at this time will have these updated and completed soon.
6) You repeatedly advised us that you were leaving the project even though you had this miscommunication your own clients. We on SEVERAL occasions had to correct this between you and the client.

Mark is nice, but his drafter is egoist, never spoke to me. He did lot of work that is useless to me and they finally stop responding to me. Not something I would do business again. Very disappointed.
Mark, please take off your listing from thumbtack, not worth troubling people again and again, by looking at reviews of others I should have refrained.

Communication needs to improve. I had to constantly stay on top of them to set status updates and get changes made. Even after informing them of some changes that needed to be made in the plans, I ended up working with someone else to update my plans since they have a very slow response time. I did finally get my final plans, but they did not come with the energy plans. I reached back out to them and they said they would look into it and I have not received any more information re: my energy plans.
