They came out to look at my project. Older home with traditional brick fireplace brick 2 way in center of living dining area..wanted tvmounted over fireplace. They looked at everything and came up w some scenarios but nothing was going to be feasible do to way fireplace is constructed.

I dont,most of my services are set prices, If it is work that I consider misc work, I charge an hourly rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I can either communicate with customer via thumbtack or by phone call to get details of work needed or scope of work.
For larger jobs, I will even go out for a free estimate and put together a detailed estimate for all work and materials needed.
