I hired CCL Landscaping for mowing services at my home, I was recommended from an existing customer. They tell everyone they are insured for your protection, however I had one of my back patio doors broken from a rock during a weekly mow service and quickly found out they are or were not at the time insured. I was left paying the bill for the window replacement. I am a 14 year disabled Marine Corps veteran and I can't believe that a company trying to start a reputable business would treat customers the way I was treated. Also I was billed for things that were never completed and when I brought this up to Chance he responded by saying and I quote "Thats not my problem". If you are looking for lawn care please do your research and stay away from CCL Landscaping.

We paid for the installation, supplies and labor of a new back patio. CCL took possession of payment in full on 5/31/2014 and as of 8/18/2014 it is not complete, parts that were started were inferior and CCL guaranteed satisfaction instead he only 1/2 tore up the area he was to re-do, part of the patio is installed yet 85% has yet to be completed. We were advised this would take approximately 10 hours, we are now 3 months into this. In the beginning, after he first started and messed up an area, we offered to have him return the funds and we would find another contractor and he continued to guarantee satisfaction and a complete-by-date. Every week we are promised he will arrive Monday to complete and we continually have to track him down, he works for a few hours and then is gone again with little to no progress. He has blamed "family emergencies" and such and we have been understanding yet at this point he is no longer returning calls or answering texts. The last communication was 8/14 and he promised to be here Monday, August 18. He has failed again to show and the patio area is a mess and I cannot get an answer from CCL. He claims he is Bonded & Insured and through another complaint have found this to be untrue. We were trying to support a neighborhood business and we are out over $2000 and a mess of a backyard to show for it. Wish I was able to post pictures because if I could you would refuse to do business with such an unethical person. We have filed a formal complaint with the BBB and next stop will be small claims court.

Total Yard Cleanup and Flowerbed overhaul. Chance gave me a same day quote and was on the job a couple days later. We have extensive flowerbeds and ended up needing more mulch than originally thought, but Chance kept great communication with me throughout the entire process and did things to my specifications and met my expectations. He even came out and worked even though he was sick in order to finish the job on time. I would highly recommend his services and intend to use him again myself.
