This is the first time I am using a service from Thumbtack and I can't be more happier than this.
I got quote from several others from Thumbtack before Q&A Mobile Welding. They all had the same idea to build a gate and they quoted 4 times more than Q&A. I was very skeptical at first when I heard the estimate from Q&A but I want to give it a shot. He came the day and time he said he would and looked at what I need. He gave it a thought and then executed it flawless. His idea to cut the gate out of existing metal fence and then embed into it did not really cost a lot after seeing what he did. He did not try to over sell to make extra bucks from his customer, which is what any customer wants after all. I showed my gate to my neighbor and now he is getting it done with Q&A.
I am not related to Q&A to write this review. I am endorsing an idea that only he had and none of other guys did. Definitely I would share his contact in my neighborhood for any fence work.

He took his time and I’m not talking run up a tab time he took the time to listen and understand what I was looking for and help me with the concept. I needed this project done asap and he was willing to help with only with dark fighting him the work is outstanding and value is beyond his experience speaks for it self. Will be using again for all future welding needs

I went to the website this morning to check on welders in the area. Normally, I don't use websites to choose someone to work in my home. I looked at the reviews received from other folks that used Q&A Mobile Welding and decided to give it a shot. He answered my request within minutes. He arrived on-time and the work quality was without question. I don't know how often I'll need welding done but I will certainly have no issue selecting Q&A again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I start at 50hr to come out and then 50hr depending on time frame of job we can go from there depending on the difficulty.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to get as much info as possible about the job as well as a picture so I'm not wasting your time and that I'm the right welder for your job.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken metal trades classes in high school and college. I have certifications on SMAW 5F,all positions
