Secured Moving made it easy. Everything was picked up quickly, they were kind an efficient and made sure everything was put in the correct rooms and even moved the items that were not previously in the right spaces. Good communication each step of the way, highly recommend.

We had a very good experience with Arthur from Secured Moving Company. We required a short long-haul move (500 miles round trip within Texas). He came and gave us an in-person guaranteed estimate based on the amount of belongings we needed to move, and he was right on the nose in that estimate (he said we needed a 26’ truck and a half and it was exactly correct). The 5 movers were respectful and friendly and handled our items with care. Would highly recommend!

I appreciated the time Arthur took at the onset to go over details of all my stuff to be moved so that he could give me his best quote for time and cost. With so much to move (for me at least) I was concerned there would only be 2 movers. But, I am delighted to report that the 2 movers knew what they were doing. Quick and efficient and still took care of my furniture, etc. ... and stayed with in the original quote. I do hope I don't have a need for a long time for another move, but should and when, my first call will absolutely be to Secured Moving Company! No, I was not paid to provide this feedback! SMC showed up right on time! I moved from a two story townhouse to a one story house on a huge hill. I was extremely impressed with how well they navigated the stairs and managed the hill! I even had them unload a storage unit same day and move those items to the new house. I really appreciated how professional and positive they both were. As a woman, it's hard to move things around. I was so happy when they offered to set up my furniture in all of the right rooms exactly as I had imagined them. I wasn't even done packing when they got to my house and they were so patient with me and even helped me collect the final room full of stuff. I would absolutely use SMC again. Moving is so stressful, it's important to have an upbeat moving crew that makes life easier!

Everything about Secured Moving Company from start to finish was above Parr. The initial phone call to guage interest immediately told me we'd be working with good people from the way they spoke to the knowledge they had. Later that day they came to the house to give us a better estimate of how long it would take and how many boxes we'd need. During the time at my house, they won us over with their friendly demeanor towards me, my children, my husband, and my dog. (His timing and box estimate were spot on!) The day of the move, they showed up a few minutes early to setup and moved quickly and worked hard. These gentlemen had to be coaxed to take a break to eat and rest for 5 minutes after working so hard non stop for over 6 hours. Everything was taken apart carefully and put back together at the new house. Nothing was broken. No damage done to either home. The gentlemen that were at our house were both so polite and fun to be around and interacted with my husband and I and the kids all day. I would use this company again in a heartbeat without looking back! Very smooth process. Great quality movers. Very affordable.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We take a different step in this area then most. It seems a lot of companies find ways to take money or place fees for almost anything. Others promote their business by offering discounts. We keep it simple as life should be. Just hourly as well as the truck rate. We have a 2 hour minimum ($130. per hour) With a minimum truck rate of $80.
Which is a minimum of $340, truck rate will vary upon distance traveled. Any move over one hour of driving will be a flat rate bid in person.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer speaking with them over the phone. For us a true understanding of someone's needs can be shared in a lot more detail then through a message. From there we can find an overall time frame of their move. As well, as an estimated cost.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our crew members have on the job training. We work with them daily in all aspects. Moving is not just grabbing an item and putting it down. It is something that takes patience and attention to detail. Items are generally moved in the same ways depending on the area they are moved through. Our goal is to guide our crew members in the ways these items are moved, and to handle them as if they were their own.
