Private Dance Lessons
All I can write about at this time is my first impression with contacting Daily Dance Service and having my questions answered. Matt was quick to respond, answered all my questions, has extremely reasonable rates and a flexible schedule. He and his wife seem like they have the perfect set up for what we are looking for. I am super excited to get started. If they can teach me to dance and have fun at the same time without tripping over my own feet or running into someone.... Trust me... I will leave another review. : )Feb 7, 2019Verified
Ballroom Dance Lessons
Would have been 5 stars. They worked with us, even dealing with a last minute problem with aplomb. And our kids loved it. But only 4 stars because we only got half the dance instructors we thought we were getting.Jan 20, 2015Verified
My husband & I had a great one on one class w/ Matt. He made it fun & easy to learn. We are now starting a group class w/ Matt & I can't wait!Aug 18, 2014Verified
Matt is a fabulous instructor and knows how to help everyone have fun while learning something new!Aug 29, 2017Review from Facebook
I love Matt and Marina's love of dance and their desire to create a dance community so that we can put our new dance moves in action. Matt is the most positive and effective instructor I've had the pleasure to learn from. I feel very fortunate to have found Daily Dance Services and recommend them to anyone who wishes to enjoy ballroom and country dancing with a great group of people!Mar 23, 2016
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? The DFW Metroplex average price for a private dance lesson is $110 for 45 minutes. Most studios discount the first lesson and the first lesson package to get you hooked, and then they raise the price slowly. At Daily Dance Services, we are committed to transparency and giving you the most value for your dollar. Depending on our specials, we will discount the first lesson to use it as an assessment of your dance skills and how we can reach your dance goals. After that, you can count on consistently cheaper than average pricing for a full hour lesson, not 45 minutes. From your second lesson on, we stay at $75 per lesson with no tricks or gotcha's like other studios in DFW.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First hour is an assessment. We want to discover your dancing or musical background. If there is none, no worries! No bad habits. We will discuss goals and preferences as well as determine the best way to reach those goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have over 10 years of dance training and experience that includes formal studio training, training for competitions, and hours upon hours spent on social dance floors. However, we are always learning. Because it is social dance, the trick is keeping your thumb on the pulse - to spot the difference between what is new and what is just a fad. We watch the national competitions to see if anything has changed, and we are networked with some really great groups but honestly what is most useful is going out dancing and seeing what is being done on the dance floor now.
