- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have everything from 30 minutes to hour long lessons, but our most common program is 45 minutes per session. There’s something for just about anyone who is ready to put in the work
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I continue to take lessons via Skype with a professional guitarist in order to improve my musical skills.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started playing guitar at age 13 and knew right then I wanted to make a living as a musician. I just didn't know teaching it was the path for me. I became a certified elementary music teacher for 4 years after college, and I loved it. But I realized that though I was seeing 600 kids on a regular basis, none of them were really becoming musicians. Sure, they were learning to love music, but I knew more could be accomplished, so I opened my own music school to begin training musicians in order to see results, not to just entertain them.
