True Guard Property Management was founded by real estate Broker/Owner Tom Lail in 2016. The idea behind the name is to be true and honest in all business practices and to guard the valuable assets of the owner and tenant. A great deal of effort goes into ensuring we maintain an open line of communication with owners, tenants, and vendors. Having great communication makes any obstacle faced easier to manage together. We understand owning a rental property is a business. As a tenant or owner, aligning yourself with good businessmen & women makes any property obstacle, easy to overcome.

"Tom has taken care of our rental properties for the last four or five years. He is smart and applies common sense to any situation which leads to a positive outcome always; he is a great communicator, responsive to our needs as well as the needs of the rental and the tenants. He is knowledgeable with what is happening in the rental market and has guided me more than once in not making mistakes that could have cost me thousand of dollars. He has an unbelievable list of repair vendors that he works with. I would very much recommend Tom to anyone as their property manager."

Last year, my wife was accepted into a med school in Alabama and I needed to remain in the area for my job. My daily drive to work was 110 miles round trip! We had to cut expenses and quick so we figured what better way than to downsize and move me closer to work. I had never rented out property before and I was extremely nervous and hesitant about doing so. I found Tom and his team online so I called them up. They answered all of my questions and helped put me at ease. Extremely professional and thorough throughout the entirely new and worrisome process and have been extremely attentive ever since. They found me GREAT tenants that respected and treated my home as it was their own and have just recently signed a new lease with what I can only assume is another great tenant. The whole process is so painless and they are always there to answer any questions I have ever had. P.S. Wife is doing great in med school and i LOVE not having to drive so far to work!!

I am out of state investor me with multiple properties and have been working with True Gaurd Property management (formerly Tom's property management) for the last 3 + years. Tom's team has done an excellent service for getting the right tenants, scheduling repair services in short amount of time for the best price, crediting monthly rents in a timely fashion, performing annual inspections for the properties and responding to my questions/emails usually with a response time of less than 4 hours (not 24 hours!). Will recommend True Guard property management to anyone who is new or for a seasoned investor.Thanks TrueGaurd for the great service !

I am military and transferred to another state leaving my home back in Texas rented out. I found Tom’s company while searching online and after speaking with him and several other companies, I decided to sign up with him to take care of my property. It was the best decision and eases the anxiety of leaving my house behind knowing that he is there to take care of it. Always responsive to any questions I have, fast rent payments and fast response to trouble ticket placed by the tenant. He is by far the cheapest company I found, but you get a great quality of service which is both personal and professional. I highly recommend Tom’s company
