I utilized a collaborative and consultative resume coaching approach where we build the resume together through a career coaching experience. Through our conversations, I better understand the value you can bring to an organization and role to best present you. I don’t believe in just filling out a questionnaire and then sending you something back. By working together, we can set you up for most success.
My personal, professional experience is both in business (specifically healthcare and IT) and education. I worked at an innovative healthcare IT solution company and more recently at an opioid epidemic solution company. Prior, I ran a non-profit and was a teacher. With a diverse career experience myself, I know the challenge presented when you want to change directions, make a small pivot, or get that next promotion.
I have my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Vanderbilt University where I had the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple industries, job types, and businesses. My graduate degree in Leadership and Organizational Performance is where much of resume insights and approach began.
I have coached and quantified accomplishments for individuals from executives to those looking for their first internship. It can be challenging to take the projects you have worked on and have them tell the story for your next position. I will work with you to learn about you and what you have done, so we can create the best presentation of your success.
The main goal is to uncover what makes you successful! I love to work with people, learn about them/from them, and help make each other better!

I inquired about her services over a year ago, and completed an initial call. I had initially started looking only to hire a resume writer, as I knew I provided much more in my current and previous positions, than the titles would suggest, but could not organize them on a resume, or fully grasp what direction I should be aiming for in my employment search. I had requested a review with my current employer about a week prior to my search for a resume writer, and could not have been more impressed by Samara. She was personable, and engaged in our conversation. It wasn’t scripted or a “fill-in-the-blank” questionnaire to spit out a generic resume. I felt like she valued my time and was already invested in helping me reach for MY “dream job”. As it ended up, my employer had landed on their own decision to give me a significant raise (50%) with a written offer to extend upon my existing role and branching into areas that further interested me. I ended up not utilizing Samara’s services further, but have not stopped appreciating that call, and always recommend her to anyone who feels stagnant, stuck, under appreciated, or under valued in their current position. FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do a one time flat price for the whole resume regardless of how long it takes. We work until we get to a product you are satisfied with!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, my first step is to get on the phone with you to get a better idea of what you are looking for as well as learn more about you. From there we either meet in person or on the phone to start creating those bullet points in your resume that really illustrate what you can do. Then we revise and edit until it is complete.
Generally, there is an intro call, a long meeting to get all the good stuff, and a shorter meeting, emails exchange or phone calls occur to finalize if needed. However, I don't leave you there! I am always just a phone call away once you start applying!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Master's degree in Leadership and Organization Performance from Vanderbilt was a huge part of the foundation to my knowledge and expertise. From there I have been working with people on their resumes and career aspirations ever since!
