- What types of customers have you worked with?
We typically do re-roof projects for homeowners and property management companies in the DFW area. We also handle any general contractor needs that a project may require. - What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Verify that the contractor is local to the area and not a "stormchaser". Should something go wrong with your roof and you need a repair, you want to make sure that the contractor will indeed be there to warranty your work. The roof is sometimes the largest investment homeowners make in their home. Staying informed will help you in making good sound decisions.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
The roofing industry in the state of Texas is not formally regulated, so anyone can decide to become a roofing contractor. North Texas is no stranger to wind, hail, heavy rains, ice, high temperatures, etc.; therefore, the roofing industry tends to do well all year long, unlike some professions. Be careful! Know who you are hiring. Confirm that they have been locally established within the community for a good amount of time. Make sure if they provide a labor warranty (which they should) that they are going to be around to back it. Check references! Check their BBB information! Be informed!
