Called Aquamaids for an estimate on resurfacing my swimming pool. Lance was very professional and offered a number of options. I explained to Lance that I’ve hired a company to remove all the wood decking, install a new concrete patio, and add stone retaining walls and once that project is completed I would start with phase 2 of resurfacing the pool. After removing all the wood decking I discovered a small leak coming from the spa so I call Aquamaids to come give an (what I thought was free) estimate to fix the leak and also to test the companies service. I had removed all of the soil exposing the leak before the technician came out to make it very easy for him a assess the leak. They quoted me $800 to fix the leak. I ended up using my regular pool guy who charged only $400 and fixed it the same day. A few days later I get a call from their billing department stating I owed them $95 service fee only the tell me what I already knew that I had a leak. I paid the service fee but will not be using this company for the resurfacing of the pool. Enjoy the $95 for doing nothing. You just lost a costumer for $5 to $8k on a resurfacing job.
