I asked for my ring doorbell to be installed outside my front door. He did show up same day so kuddos to that. I previously had an ADT camera installed up there so i assume i had enough power (but not sure). He doesn’t use that ring doorbell line and instead runs a line from my intercom speaker (so that’s probably why i don’t have enough power). After the install the ring camera wouldn’t power cycle all the way through but he said he was finished. I paid $96. When i tried to add the ring camera it of course it wouldn’t complete. I reached out to the woman who was essentially the translator for us and she told me “Maybe you need electrician” if that’s the case why didn’t you tell me that as you installed, or after i paid. I paid $100 to have him drill holes that my wife finna complain about. Better service would’ve told me what he couldn’t do and what he could. Now i gotta uninstall the stuff and just get a regular battery ring.
