My garage door opener was old, noisy and intermittently wouldn't close the door. I called Andrew and got a response within minutes. He was easy to communicate with, transparent about pricing (repairs/service v. cost to replace), and reliable. He installed a new ultra quiet opener. I would recommend Andrew to anyone needing their garage door opener serviced or replaced.

We had just moved into this house and the garage door was off its tracks, the cable was tangled, and anything else that could be wrong with it. Andrew came in and got our garage working no problem. Super nice, very professional. He did an absolute great job and were very happy with it.

TrueSafe is a local small business owned by a gentleman named Andrew. I had a great experience, and I feel I got a lot more than I paid for. This detailed review is my extra way of supporting a company that exceeded expectations. If you can appreciate genuine professionalism, effective communication, respect for your time, quality of work, fairness of price, someone who says what they'll do then does it, and/or like supporting local small businesses, do yourself a favor and use TrueSafe for your garage door needs.Having overpaid before with both national corps and dispatch services, I was more cautious this time looking to get repairs for a busted torsion spring and my door dropping as a result. I filled quote requests across a few places, and Andrew reached out the same evening after hours, while he was out of town.He was clear up front he was not immediately available to do the work, but that he would diagnose and quote remotely if I provided pics/vids. We texted for about 15 min, he talked me through what was and wasn't likely to be damaged, and he gave me practical advice for getting the door open while waiting for professional repair. He provided a couple pricing options that 1) replaces what absolutely needed replacement and 2) what might need to be replaced also. I said I wasn't sure his timeline to do the work fit my needs, and instead he volunteered to evaluate other companies quotes for fairness. This is a lot of transparency vs groups that give you a number over the phone and then find ways to upsell once already there. It was also free advice that he potentially didn't benefit from. I decided to delay the repair and reserve the work for him such that he would get paid for that service as a result. We set an appointment for five days later at 6AM.He texted me the evening before to ask if we were still on. I confirmed. I woke up in the morning to a text comically informing me he'd be late by THREE minutes. He showed up a few minutes delayed, exactly as he communicated. He looked at the job, and even though I had already agreed to replace certain parts, he let me know they didn't need to be replaced and saved me money. He also decided to lube the door and tighten hardware outside of the scope of work. I had to leave, so we wrapped up, he pointed out an adjustment he could make to make the door quieter and that he'd be willing to come back out later to make that adjustment for no additional charge.Thank you Andrew.
